This splendid, richly elaborate form belongs to the Monteclaro Culture and is placed in the Copper Age, 3rd millennium BC. The use for which it was intended was food.
The decoration it presents was obtained with the engraving and impression technique.
This type of processing is obtained by stralucido (smoothing specific areas of the object, which appear shiny after firing).
This artifact was created and decorated entirely by hand with the same techniques used in prehistory, subjected to an antiquing process and finally cooked at a temperature of 950° for approximately 15 hours.
