This ceramic form belongs to the Nuragic culture, it is called "still vase" or also "external strip vase". It is a olla with a truncated cone rim provided with an external strip which, it is thought, could have been used to support a conical lid or alembic during the distillation phase of a liquid. The procedure consists in boiling the liquid in the container and then collecting the steam in the form of condensation originating from boiling in the ring below.

Height: 20 cm

Width: 28 cm

This artefact was created and decorated entirely by hand with the same techniques used by the Nuragic people, subjected to an antiquing process and finally cooked at a temperature of 950° for approximately 15 hours.
