This vascular shape made of clay is known as a tripod. It belongs to the Nuragic Culture of Monte Claro, which developed in Sardinia around the second half of the 3rd millennium BC. Tripods spread in different forms in almost all Sardinian prehistoric cultures, from the Middle Neolithic to the Early Bronze Age. It was used for cooking food in direct contact with fire.

This artifact was created and decorated entirely by hand with the same techniques used in prehistory. Subjected to an antiquing process and finally cooked at a temperature of 950° for approximately 15 hours.
