Bell-shaped Tripod or Beaker Prehistoric Ceramics Ancient Art Sardinia
This is the reproduction of a tripod, so called due to the presence of three feet, it belongs to the "Campaniform Culture also known as the cup vase" (Bronze Age: 2200/1900 BC).
This type of container was probably used for cooking food. The rich decoration of the vase led experts to think that it was part of the funerary kit that accompanied the deceased on his last journey. Traces of food were also found in this type of ceramic. This type of ceramic has in fact been found inside underground tombs.
This artifact was created and decorated entirely by hand with the same techniques used in prehistory, subjected to an antiquing process and finally cooked at a temperature of 950° for approximately 15 hours.
