This female idol represents motherhood which evokes the fruitfulness of the earth and humanity. This is why it is considered a symbol of fertility. It was very popular in the Sardinian Neolithic period.
This is a unique piece entirely modeled by hand, it is inspired by many finds in Sardinia. Note: it weighs one kilogram!! (the inside of the artefact is not hollow, but full). It was fired at a temperature of 950° for approximately 15 hours, then cold enamelled.
