ATHENA GODDESS OF WAR AND WISDOM Mythology tells that Athena was born without a mother from the head of Zeus, one of her most important functions was that of protector of Athens. She was not only the goddess of war but also of wisdom as she was born an adult and therefore wise, and she also guaranteed prosperity to citizens (trade, agriculture and the arts).
In reference to the war I decided to represent his figure with a shield in front of his abdomen and a sword raised with his right arm in a gesture of triumph.
This artefact was modeled from a single block of clay, was then subjected to a 950° firing for approximately 15 hours, then cold enamelled and fixed on a 15cm wooden support.
Adhesive material has been applied to the base of the support to avoid scratches on the furniture.
