The ceramic represented here is the replica of a Greek amphora framed in the recent Minoan period, in naturalistic style.
It is created in clay and then decorated according to the so-called "Naturalistic" style, the black and white designs are represented by floral motifs and concentric figures on a black and brown background.
This artifact was created and decorated entirely by hand (without the use of the lathe). It was then subjected to an antiquing process and finally cooked at a temperature of 950° for approximately 15 hours.
