This artefact represents the naturalistic style with vegetal and geometric elements on a light background, this style established itself between the Middle Minoan and the Late Minoan.
Various examples of these ceramics have been found in the palace of Knossos.

This ceramic was created and decorated entirely by hand, (without the use of the lathe). It was then subjected to an antiquing process and finally cooked at a temperature of 950 for approximately 15 hours.
