CERAMIC STATUETTE REPRODUCTION OF THE MOTHER GODDESS This artefact is inspired by the female idol found in Romania belonging to the Cucuteni-Trypillian culture which developed in the late Neolithic in the areas we know today as Romania, Moldavia and Ukraine. It too was a symbol of femininity and fertility.
The statuette represented here was entirely modeled by hand, fired at a temperature of 950° for approximately 15 hours, then cold enamelled simulating a marble effect.
