Orpheus, a character from Greek mythology, famous for his music, taught to him by the muses, with which he saved the Argonauts by counteracting the singing of the sirens.

However, his notoriety is mainly due to the attempt to get his wife Eurydice back with him, an attempt that failed due to not having kept his promise not to look at her face until he left the kingdom of the dead.

The sculpture created is represented with a musical instrument (the lyre).

This artefact was modeled from a single block of clay, was then subjected to a 950° firing for approximately 15 hours, then cold enamelled and fixed on a 20cm wooden support.
