There are different representations of Hermes in different periods, the artifact I created is placed in the period preceding the 6th century BC when he was represented with a large member and wings on his feet.
He was considered the messenger of the gods, not only because he could communicate with the human world, but also because he mediated to resolve conflicts.
This artefact was modeled from a single block of clay, was then subjected to a 950° firing for approximately 15 hours, then cold enamelled and fixed on a 15cm wooden support.
